Replacement Heads
The drum heads are made of a thin goat skin and as with any natural skin drum head, they can break. To remove your damaged drum head, first remove any decorative items you may have attached around the drum shell where the drum head was glued. This can be done carefully so that you can reuse the decorations. Usually, it works just to pull it off, but you might need to lay a damp cloth on it for a short time to loosen the glue.

If the drum head is torn, you can tear it all the way across the top and usually pull it off the sides of the drum. If that doesn't work, lay a damp cloth over the drum head for a couple hours and then remove the head.

You can order replacement drum heads in natural skin or tie-dyed. This will include glue, rubber bands, and instructions. Please note we cannot guarantee exactly what a tie-dyed drum head will look like, but you can provide guidelines in color combinations and pattern design. Pattern designs include: Starburst, Fishskin, Crumpled, Solid Color.

Roxy Rhythm stands behind their products and we want you to be completely satisfied with your drum. Please email us at info@roxyrhythm.com or call us at 303-708-8357 if anything about the drum is not working out for you. We guarantee the drum shell for 6 months, provided it has been treated with respect. (Not sat on, thrown, crushed, etc.). We do not offer a guarantee on the drum skin because nature is out of our control. Occasionally, we run across a defective skin. If you feel that has happened to you, please let us know.
