About RhythmVision
RhythmVision has provided drumming experiences for people of all ages since 1993. We have facilitated drum circles in schools, day treatment programs, juvenile detention centers, orphanages, mental health facilities, parties, educator conferences, and live musical performances. RhythmVision also incorporates digital audio and video recording methods for capturing drum circle events. Over the past five years, we have produced musical adventures that utilize drum circles and other instrumentation. Because of this, RhythmVision has been able to sell CDs for fundraising purposes. Our work has provided benefits for schoolchildren in Bosnia, battered women's shelters, refugee relief programs, at-risk youth homes and more.

Benefits of Drumming
Primarily, our work has been done with school-age children. Drumming with kids can help them begin to value a sense of community, whether they are in preschool or high school. Drum circles provide low-risk opportunities for leadership awareness and a sense of belonging, while at the same time developing small and large motor skills. We have been able to illuminate math concepts, such as fractions, through drumming and dance.

Language Arts are easy to access because for whatever reason, things like spelling are so important to our perception of intelligence. Even though Albert Einstein could barely spell "Quantum", syllabic/rhythmic exploration would have further helped him get his point across. Poetry, and all forms of prose, are best presented by writers who utilize a keen sense of rhythm.

Speaking of science, there are no limitations to the exploration of sound. WE are made of sound. Vibratory patterns define the nature of our existence. Nobel prize winner, nuclear physicist and bongo player, Richard Feynman knew this to be true. Strike a drumhead and innately we begin to understand the universe and our place in it. Historical and cultural studies cannot be fully grasped without pursuing rhythm as a prime mover indicative of who we are, where we have been, and where we are going.

Rhythm is a constant that should never be ignored, whether in the context of academic, emotional, or physical pursuits. Just watch any sports programming on the tube, and rhythm will be mentioned as a key component to success. We at RhythmVision know all of these things to be true, and our mission is to help anyone doing anything, be able to do it better. We don't pretend to have all the answers, but we think we have a way to help others reach their highest potential. Heady stuff? Maybe. Let us help you "Change Your Life Forever".
